Are you a seasoned accounting professional with strong project or job-costing experience? Our team is partnering with a rapidly growing industrial services organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join their high-performing finance group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and hands-on accounting work.

Duties:

• Lead key components of month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare, review, and enter complex journal entries (GAAP-compliant)
• Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts; investigate variances
• Support project accounting, job costing, and financial tracking for active projects
• Assist with AP/AR activities
• Prepare audit schedules and provide documentation for internal/external reviews
• Partner with Operations, Project Management, and Accounting teams
• Participate in process improvements and system optimization initiatives
• Maintain accurate, organized financial records in alignment with company policy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong performance record
• Background in construction, industrial, or manufacturing accounting strongly preferred
• Solid experience with job costing and project-related spending
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis)
• Strong ERP experience
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and deadline management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Must pass standard pre-employment screenings
• Flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods
